Rebecca Smith has been teaching classical ballet for 25 years.
As a former professional ballerina, she danced with several ballet companies as well as world famous family-oriented theatrical productions. She has taught for professional ballet company schools, performing arts high schools, universities, and private dance studios. For the past 10 years, Miss Rebecca has been teaching and directing shows in Fairbanks where she has had the privilege of working with hundreds of students of all ages and all levels. Many of her students have gone on to enjoy professional dance and theatre careers.

Currently Miss Rebecca is pioneering a new approach to the Fairbanks dance community with the creation of her studio, Ballet Praise. Ballet Praise will provide a unique blend of classical ballet classes with optional faith-based choreography and exciting performance opportunities. It will offer the same high quality instruction and professionalism that Miss Rebecca is known for, as well as capturing her flare for creating fun message centered shows.
